OPERATION:
Zoom In
Slide the Power Zoom Lever towards OT�.
Zoom Out
Zoom out (W: Wide angle)Slide the Power Zoom Lever towards OW�.
The further you slide the Power Zoom Lever, the
Zoom displayquicker the zoom action.

I Focusing may become unstable during Zooming. In
Digital zoom zonethis case, set the zoom while in Record-Standby,
lock the focus by using the manual focus
( pg. 29), then zoom in or out in Record mode.
I Zooming is possible to a maximum of 500X, or it
10X (optical)can be switched to 10X magnification using the
zoom zoneoptical zoom ( pg. 33).
I Zoom magnification of over 10X is done through
Digital image processing, and is therefore called
