I downloaded this product and looked through it quickly with Adobe Reader v9. It is clean and a good copy. Some scanned pages are not perfectly square, but that is a minor complaint. The document schematics and board diagrams are easy to read, of good contrast. The whole file downloaded quickly. This is a good service! Sony charges about $100 for the printed version of the same manual. It is still available through their print-on-demand pro parts system, but why would you do that?

Talk about a lifesaver!!!!!!!!!!!! This schematic will also work for the Radio Shack DX-392. This is the full blown service manual complete with alignment instructions, schematics, and parts lists.

POWER LampPicture Quality/Size Mode Setting
POWER SwitchPicture quality and size can be selected to best match your
needs. Four different modes are available: XGA (1024 x
MODE Dial
768 pixels) FINE, XGA STD, VGA (640 x 480 pixels) FINE
and VGA STD, listed in order of quality.
Set the POWER Switch to OÃ� while pressing
1down the Lock Button located on the switch and set
Lock Buttonthe MODE Dial to OÃ�, then open the LCD monitor
fully. The POWER lamp lights and the camcorder is
turned on.
Press IMAGE SIZE/RES. until the desired mode
2appears.
