FEATURE: Picture Mode Setting
PURPOSE:
There are two image settings you can choose from
Systemwhen storing in the camcorder's memory: FINE and
Select SwitchSTANDARD. FINE allows you to shoot up to approx.
30 still images in a format based on JPEG (Joint
Photographic Experts Group). Since the quality of
image is better than OSTANDARD�, OFINE� is more
suitable for post-production on a PC. OSTANDARD�
allows you to shoot up to approx. 60 still images in a
format based on JPEG (Joint Photographic Experts
MENU ButtonGroup). Since in this mode, twice as many still images
can be shot as in the OFINE� mode, select this mode

when you wish to shoot many still images.
OPERATION:
1) Turn the LENS COVER Open/Close Ring to open the
lens cover, and set the System Select Switch to
OD.S.C.�. Set the Power Switch to OPRO.�.
2) Press MENU. The Menu Screen appears.
nIf you wish the Picture Mode to return to the previous

bar to ORETURN�.
