NOTE:
PLAY/PAUSE
Make sure you connect your camcorder as directed in
REW FFOBasic Connections� (Z pg. 32).
LOAD A CASSETTE
Slide EJECT to open the cassette holder, then insert
1the cassette with the label facing out. Press PUSH to
STOPensure the holder is closed and locked.
SELECT MODE
Set the Power switch to OPLAY�. The Power On
2indicator lights.
PLAYBACKHi-Fi/MIX/NORMAL
output audio select buttonPress PLAY/PAUSE. The playback picture appears in
3the viewfinder and the connected TV.
STOP PLAYBACK
Press STOP.

Rewind or Fast-forward the tape
Press REW to rewind, or FF to fast-forward the tape
during Stop mode.
NOTE:
The camcorder shuts off automatically after about 5
POWER
minutes in Stop mode or Still Playback mode. To turn on
again, set the Power switch to OPOWER OFF�, then to
Recording format indicatorOPLAY�.
: S-VHS
No indication: regular VHSSelect the Audio playback Soundtrack.
Press the Hi-Fi/MIX/NORMAL audio output select button
HiFiTape running indicatorso that the required indication appears in the viewfinder.
