Taking Pictures using the Built-in Flash
The flash is activated twice. The first
flash is activated only for a preparation
When you set the flash, you can take of actual recording. The subject should
pictures using the built-in flash according to not move until the second flash is

people in low lighting conditions.

When you take a picture with a dark
background landscape, this feature makes
the shutter speed slow when the flash is
activated, so that the dark background
landscape will become bright.
For the selectable flash settings, refer to Simultaneously it reduces the red-eye
phenomenon.

:AUTO: Forced OFF
The flash is automatically activated
The flash is not activated in any recording
according to the recording condition.condition.
: AUTO/Red-eye reduction Use this when you take pictures in
places where the use of the flash is not
The flash is automatically activated
according to the recording condition.permitted.
It reduces the red-eye phenomenon (eyes
of the subject appear red in the picture) by
triggering the flash before actually
recording the picture. After that, the flash is
activated for actual recording again.
