Using the Features Menu
HOWTOUSETHE TIMER MENU CONTROLS
our television comes with an onscreen clock.
YThe TV can also be set to turn on or off at a
specific time and tune to a specific channel when it
powers itself on.
Press the MENU button on the remote control to
display the onscreen menu.

Press the CURSOR DOWNyybutton until

Press the CURSOR RIGHTqq button to display
the Featuremenu.s

Press the CURSOR RIGHTqq button to display
the Timermenu.

Press the CURSOR UPxx or DOWN yy buttons
5to highlight one of the Timer controls. These
controls are Time, Start Time, Stop Time, Channel,
Activate, and Display.
Press the CURSOR RIGHqqT buttonto display
the menu for the selected item. Make adjustments
6to the selected items by following the steps below.
Time: Enter the current time using the Numbered
buttons. For Digital mode, use the CURSOR
RIGHTqq or CURSOR LEFTpp buttonsto
toggle the AM and PM setting. For Analog mode,
use the CURSOR UP xx or CURSOR DOWN yy
button to toggle the AM and PM setting.
Start Time:Use the numbered buttons to enter the
time you want the TV to turn itself On. For Digital
mode, use the CURSOR RIGHTqq or CURSOR
LEFTppbuttonsto toggle the AM and PM
setting. For Analog mode, use the CURSOR UP
xx or CURSOR DOWNyy buttonsto toggle the
AM and PM setting.
Stop Time:For Digital mode, use the numbered
buttons to enter the time you want the TV to turn
itself Off. For Analog mode, use the CURSOR
RIGHTqq or CURSOR LEFTpp buttonsto
toggle the AM and PM setting.
Channel:Use the NUMBERED buttons or the CH
+ or CH- buttons to enter the desired startup channel.
Activate: Set the timer to turn itself On or Off
Once or Daily. Press the CURSOR RIGHTqqor
CURSOR LEFTpp buttonsto select Once, Daily,
or Off. HELPFUL HINTS
Display: Press the CURSOR RIGHTqq or
CURSOR LEFTppbuttonsto toggle betweenRemember, be sure to press
On or Off. If On is selected, the time will beO0� and then the hour number
displayed all the time when the TV is on. Whenfor single digit entries.
Off is selected, the time will only appear when the
EXIT/INFO buttonis pressed. The TVOs clock settings may
be lost when the TV is
Press the EXIT/INFO buttonto remove theunplugged or when AC power
