Press the Number 4 button so that ON appears to the
right of RECORD DEFEAT.

Press the STATUS/EXIT button.

Y If you put the TV/VCRin Record
REC DEFEATED
Defeat mode after a timer recording
has been programmed, the timer
recording will not be carried out.
Y If you put the TV/VCR in Record
Defeat mode, then try to program a
timer recording, you will not be able
to program a timer recording. VCR
PROGRAM cannot be selected from
the pop up menu.
Y To take the TV/VCRout of Record
Defeat mode, repeat steps 1 - 2
above. At step 3, press the
Number 4 button so that OFF
appears to the right of RECORD
DEFEAT on-screen. Press the STA-
TUS/EXIT button. |
