Activate the vibrator
If you have set the function, your phone vibrates when receiving an incoming call
(activating the silent mode via the Silence Quicksetting as described above will also
activate the vibrator). Otherwise, proceed as follows:
1In idle screen, press , and select Settings > Sounds > Vibrator.
2Move + or - to select On or Off and press , to confirm.
Activating the vibrator doesn?t mute the ringer. If you want to mute it and keep the
vibrator function on, activate the Silence mode as described above.
Reading your own GSM phone number
To read your own mobile phone number, proceed as follows:
1In idle screen, press , orC.
2In the Names menu, move + or - to select Own num., then press ,. Your
phone number is displayed if present on your SIM card. If not, select New, then
follow the instructions displayed on the screen.
If your own number has been stored in the Names list, you can read it during a call.

How to enter text or a number
Text can be entered in editing screens in two different ways: by using T9? Text
Input, or basic text input. Two other modes for numbers and punctuation marks, are
also available. Icons in the upper and lower right corners of the screen show the
active text edition mode. You switch from a mode to the other by pressing the *
key, and from lower to upper case by pressing the # key.
