This manual is for both the EU and Australian version of the CCD-TR55(E) Camcorder, as stated it includes both the users manual and the service manual. The quality of the manual is very good but it is only black and white (not full colour) and ultimately it is just a scan, so 4/5 from me.

First-time DVD/VCR Setup 17
Before turning on your DVD/VCR, make sure batteries are in the
remote control and the DVD/VCR and TV are connected correctly.
You cannot program channels if you are using a Cable Box or aTurn on the TV.

Turn on the TV. Set it to channel 3 or 4 or its

Press VCR, then press STANDBY-ON. The green VCR
light will appear on the front of the DVD/VCR.The displayVCR/TV

TV while in VCR mode.To put the DVD/VCR in VCRY If you try to program channels
when there is no antenna or Cable
mode, press VCR so the green VCR light appears. Use the
SKIP3/CHo and SKIP /CHp buttons to select memo-TV signal connected to the ANT-IN
jack of the DVD/VCR,programming
rized channels.To select non-memorized channels, use the
Number buttons.will stop.AUTO SET UP will stop
flashing.Connect an antenna or
Cable TV signal to the DVD/VCROs
ANT-IN jack and press B again.
Y Repeat this process if the power
fails.
YTo stop the Channel Setup while
AUTO SET UP is flashing,press
DISC/VCR/MENU.
