All schematics for the Euro-PC and some extra info. Needed if you want to replace some missing hardware. A piece of great historical value and for vintage computing entusiasts.

1 Lift the bread baskets out of the toaster by means of the handles.
Avoid touching the metal parts, as they get hot during toasting.
2 Put a slice of bread or a sandwich in each basket (fig. 4).
Make sure the slices of bread or the sandwiches go all the way down inside the baskets, for a good
and even toasting result
3 Operate the toaster by following the appropriate instructions below.
HD2500 only: set the on/off knob to position 1.
Once the desired toasting result has been reached, switch the appliance off by setting the on/off
knob to position 0.Then remove the bread basket(s).
As this model does not have a timer, it will not switch off automatically after 6 minutes. In this
case it is very important that you keep track of the toasting time.
HD2502 only: select the desired toasting time by turning the timer knob clockwise. You can
also turn the timer knob anticlockwise to 0 if you want to reset the toasting time.
Select a short toasting time (1 to 2 minutes) for a light toasting result.
Select a medium toasting time (3 to 4 minutes) for a medium toasting result.
Select a long toasting time (5 to 6 minutes) for a dark toasting result.
BIf the bread is damp or if you have put a lot of ingredients between the slices, the appliance will need
a longer toasting time to produce the same toasting result.
BWhen the toaster is cold, you will need a slightly longer toasting time (approx.1 minute extra) to get
the same result.
Never toast the bread longer than 6 minutes, to prevent the bread from burning.
Cleaning
Do not immerse the appliance or mains cord in water or any other liquid.
1 Unplug the appliance.
2 Always let the toaster cool down (approx. 15-20 minutes) before cleaning it.
3 Clean the toaster with a moist cloth.
4 The removable parts, i.e. the crumb tray and the bread baskets, can be cleaned separatately
with a moist cloth.
5 Remove crumbs from the appliance by sliding the crumb tray out of the appliance. Empty the
crumb tray over a dustbin.
6 Also remove the crumbs from the bread baskets by taking the bread baskets out of the
toaster and turning them upside down over a dustbin.
Storage
1 Unplug the appliance.
2 Let the appliance cool down completely before storing it.
3 Store the mains cord by winding it round the brackets in the base of the appliance (fig. 3).
Replacement
If the mains cord is damaged, it must be replaced by Philips, a service centre authorised by Philips
or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
