Essential for popping the top open and cleaning and replacing what needs repalced. One note: the Ornamental Panel is attached with some adhesive as well as screws and faders so don't be shy about prying it open.

Check the software version of Roland VS series
To connect CDR-88RW-4, the system software of VS series may need to be updated. Please check
the software version which can be connected to CDR-88RW-4.
In case update of software is necessary, consult with your retailer, the nearest Roland Service
Center, or an authorized Roland distributor, as listed on the OInformationÃ� page.
How to check the version of the system software
1.Turn the power on while holding [CH EDIT] and [STATUS] of channel 1.
2.Version of the system appears at first like OVS-880 Ver 3.201Ã� at the top of the display.
3.Then the startup process begins as usual.
Please find compatibility of your unit as follows.
