Radio Reception
1Press the BAND button.
Each time you press the BAND button, the unit alternates
between AM and FM bands.
Alternatively, you can use the FM/AM button on the TUNER
BASIC (or ADVANCED) page of the remote control unit.
2Press the TUNING button twice.
"AUTO" should start blinking in the display.
< If you select the PRESET mode and 5 seconds or more is up, the1
MULTI JOG knob is available for changing the function mode.
3Turn the MULTI JOG knob a little bit in either direction. 2
Turning the knob to the right lets the unit search for receivable
stations on upper frequencies. Turning the knob to the left lets
the unit search stations on lower frequencies.
Alternatively, you can use the g/t buttons on a TUNER page
3(BASIC or ADVANCED) of the remote control unit.
When a station is tuned in, the tuning process will stop
automatically.
Press the TUNING button to stop the auto selection.

Press the TUNING button to get "MANUAL" displayed, blinking,
and then turn the MULTI JOG knob to the right or left. The
frequency will change in the following steps:
FM : 50kHz
AM : 9kHz
< "STEREO" is displayed when a stereo broadcast is tuned in.
< "TUNED" is displayed when a broadcast is correctly tuned in.
When a stereo FM broadcast is not clear, press the STEREO button
on a TUNER page of the remote control unit to switch into the mono
mode. The stridency will be less perceptible.
How to select preset stations
Press the TUNING button to get "PRESET" displayed, blinking. Then
turn the MULTI JOG knob to select preset channels. Alternatively,
you can use the numeric buttons on the TUNER ADVANCED page of
the remote control unit.
