Music search using SEARCH buttons (m/,)
During playback, hold down the SEARCH button (,) to move
the playing position quickly in the forward direction, and hold
down the SEARCH button (m) to move quickly in the
reverse direction.
During the manual search operation, sound will be audible but
the output level will be lowered. This lets you search for any
required portion while checking the sound.
When the desired position is found, release the button to
reenter the previous mode.
Shuffle Playback
< This function is possible only when the player is in the stop
mode.
Press the RANDOM button.
The RANDOM indicator lights in the display.
Tracks will be randomly selected and played back.
< Press the MUSIC SKIP button (/) with shuffle play function
engaged to select a track at random. Press the MUSIC SKIP
button (. ) to replay currently played track from its
beginning.
< A track cannot be replayed after it has been played in this
mode.
< To release the shuffle play function while it is engaged, press
the STOP button (H), then press the RANDOM button or STOP
button (H).
Intro Check
The Intro Check function allows only the beginning of each track
to be played for 10 seconds.
< This function is operational both in the stop mode and during
normal playback.
1Press the INTRO CHECK button.
2Press the PLAY button (y).
The INTRO indicator lights in the display.
< Press the INTRO CHECK button again to clear the Intro Check
function.
< The Intro Check function also works together with SHUFFLE
and REPEAT ONE/ALL functions. This function will not stop
until the STOP button (H) is pressed.
< The Intro Check function also works together with the
PROGRAM function.
< To release the Intro Check function while it is engaged, press
the STOP button (H) twice.
