Moving
Shut off the ice maker water supply a day ahead of
time. Disconnect the water line. After the last sup-
ply of ice drops, lift the signal arm to turn off the ice
maker. Make sure all ice crescents are dispensed
out of the mechanism.
Remove all food. Pack frozen food in dry ice.
Unplug the refrigerator and clean it thoroughly.
Take out all removable parts. Wrap all parts well
and tape them together so they don?t shift and
rattle. Screw in the leveling rollers: tape the doors
shut; and tape the electric cord to the cabinet.
When you get to your new home, put everything
back and refer to page 4. Don?t forget to reconnect
the water supply line. Draw and discard 2 to 3
quarts (1.9 to 2.8L) of water to flush the water
dispensing system. |
