Using pauses allows you to send DTMF tones automatically.From Idle mode:

When the call is successful DTMF tones will be sent after 3
seconds.Select

If the DTMF tones are unsuccessful then the destination of your
call may require that the length of the tones be increased, as

From Idle mode:When travelling to a country / region which has a roaming
agreement with your home network, the Second Clock is
Personalise >Selectadjusted automatically. However, for countries / regions which
DTMF LengthLonghave several time zones in the same area manual adjustment is
required.
From Idle mode:

Applications > Clock Function > Clock
Set > Away >Auto Adjustment > Home
The Second Clock can either be set to be auto-adjusting,Area
whereby the second time is set from the code of the current
network, or a specified time difference can be set manually.
