Essential for popping the top open and cleaning and replacing what needs repalced. One note: the Ornamental Panel is attached with some adhesive as well as screws and faders so don't be shy about prying it open.

Using the child safety device
The child safety device prevents unintentional use of
the appliance.
Setting the child safety device
Step Control panel Display/Signal
1. Switch on the appliance 3
(Do not set a heat setting)
2.Touch until the signal soundsAcoustic signal

Appliance switches off. The child safety device is engaged.

Releasing the child safety device

1. Switch on the appliancel

Appliance switches off. The child safety device is released.

Overriding the child safety device
The child safety device can be released in this way
for a single cooking session; it remains activated af-
terwards.
Step Control panel Display/Signal
1. Switch on the appliancel
2.Touch and at the same time3 / acoustic signal
Until the appliance is next switched off, it can used as normal.

3After overriding the child safety device, a heat
setting or a function must be set within
approx. 10 seconds, otherwise the appliance
automatically switches itself off.
