INSTALLATION
2-1. INCOMING INSPECTION.
2-2. MECHANICAL INSPECTION. Unpack and in- I
spect the Model 120B the in presence of the carrier. T302
Be careful when unpacking the instrument, for all
electron tubes including the cathode ray tube remain
installed during shipment. Save all packing materials
until inspection is complete. These materials may 2
be required for reshipment in the event shipping dam-
age is discovered. 230

knobs, etc. If possible, energize the equipment and

2-5. PERFORMANCE CHECK. Paragraph 5-52 con-

operation within listed specifications. The perform-

2-6. INITIAL TURN ON. Energize the 120B as
follows: 2
a. Turn INTENSITY control OFF to and plug in

g. Rotate INTENSITY clockwise until trace appears. 115 VOLT CONNECTION
If crt remains blank, press BEAM FINDER and re-
adjust position controls as necessary.
h. Adjust FOCUS for thin, -well-defined trace, and
adjust HORIZONTAL POSITION to place end left of
sweep on left-end graticule line.
