The false SC101 indication may occur under the following conditions. It can be reset to
normal by the following the instructions below.
Symptom :
After turning the main switch on, the SC101 condition occurs when the AD-1 becomes
"Ready". Though SC101 can be reset by toggling the ac switch, neither the SC resetting
procedures nor toggling the main switch can reset to normal operating conditions.
Occurrence Conditions :
The problem occurs when the following operations were made on machines with the
following BICU software versions: "E" for US software models (destination codes 10, 15, 17,
55) and "D" for European software models (destination codes 19, 22, 26, 27, 29, 65)
1. In SP mode 4-417 IPU "Test Pattern Print", one of the test patterns was selected.
2. The test pattern was printed with the Copy Mode Display.
3. The main switch was turned off.
With the operations listed above, SC101 occurs after the main switch is turned back on.
Note : From the BICU software version of "F" for US software and "E" for European
software, this problem has been fixed.
To reset to the normal operating condition :
Take either of the following actions to reset to normal operating conditions.
1. By using SP mode 4-417, select the default setting of "0 : No Print"
or.
2. Toggle the ac switch from off to on. |
