Transfer and Separation
1. The corona wires shouldbe cleaned with a dry cloth at every EM or PM.
2. While the drumstay is removed and the drum is installed on the drum
guide, do not lift up thetransport unit. (The corona casing will knock
against the drum and damage it.)
Cleaning
1 8When servicing, be careful not to damage the edge of the cleaning blade.
2lDo not touch the cleaning brush with your bare hands.
3lBefore pulling out the cleaning unit, place a sheet ofpaper underit to
catch falling toner.
4lBe careful not to damage the drum with the pick-off pawls when pulling
out or inserting the cleaning unit.
58When a new cleaning blade and a new cleaning brush is installed, dust
them with setting powder before re-installing the unit.
Fusing
1. After replacingthe oil blade and oil supply pad, prime them with silicone

2. Be careful not to damage theedge of the hot roller strippers or their ten-
sion springs.
3. Do not touch the fusing lamp with your bare hands.
4. Be sure that the fusing lamp is not in contact with the inner surface of
the hot roller.
5. Be sure that the oil end sensor contacts the bottom of the oil tank.
