In the freezer compartment , instead, the frost
should be removed with the provided special plasticFig. 10
scraper whenever the thickness exceeds 4 mm.
During this operation it is not necessary to switch off
the power or to remove the foods from the compart-
ment.
Do not use metal tools to remove frost in order to
avoid seriously damaging the appliance.
If a thick layer of ice is formed it will be necessary to
carry out complete defrosting as following:
set the knob �DE to �OE or unplug the appliance from
the mains socket;

wrap frozen food in several layers of newspaper andTurn the thermostat knob �DE to the desired position
