TROUBLESHOOTING
WARNINGLASER SAFETY

If you are unable to solve a problem by following these hints,
consult your dealer or service centre.

Y ensure that the ON/OFF button is on: the set is in standby

Y ensure that the mains cable is plugged in correctlyY insert a digital audio disc marked with ODigital audio� and
Y switch the set OFF and then immediately back ONthe special logo
Auto track does not workCHECK INPUT indication
Y check if auto track is selectedY select the correct input
Y check if there are 2.7 seconds silence in between the tracksY make sure the connection cable is properly connected
(analog recording only)
Y check if the source is a consumer source with the digitalWill not record
output according to the IEC audio standardY clean the disc
Y source is DVD player (no track information)Y check if CDR(W) is an unfinalized disc
Y check that the disc is recordable and replace if necessary

Recorded disc does not play in other standard CD
DISC RECOVER indicationplayer
Y a power failure has occurred during recording, the CDY finalize the CDR(W)
recorder is attempting to repair the disc Y insert the CDRW in a CDRW compatible player
Y if DISC ERROR then appears on the display, the disc
cannot be recorded further, and cannot be finalised. But it
can still be played on the CD recorder or another CD
recorder.
Y on a CDRW disc, the track being recorded is lost, but
further recording and finalization can still be done
