Even though the timer is set, the recorder will not
record when:You can copy the contents of a DVD to a VHS tape
using the DUBBING (or DUB) button.
? There is no disc (or tape) loaded.
1. Insert a blank VHS videotape into the VCR deck.
?A non-recordable disc (or tape) is loaded.
? Disc Protect is set to ON in the Disc menu2. Insert the disc you wish to copy in the DVD deck
and close the disc tray.

resume Dubbing, press the DUBBING button twice.
