Surround sound settings
Your receiver is able to reproduce one or more forms of virtual
HALLsurround sound. Virtual surround gives a more real life sound

of digital surround, the sound format AC-3 (for Dolby Digital) or
DTS will be displayed, followed by the sound channels, available
on the source (e. g. DVD).
Example: AC-3 3/2.1 Dolby Digital, 3 front channels,The level of virtual surround sound effect can be adjusted in
2 surround channels and athe setup menu. The following surround sound modes are
subwoofer channel.available:
AC-3 3/1.0 Dolby Digital, 3 front channels,
1 (mono) surround channel without3D SURROUND

Phantom speakers are created next to the left and right front
and rear speakers.
Note: The availability of MULTI FRONT and
MULTI REAR depends on the sound channels on the
source material (FR 994, FR 995, FR 996 only).
NIGHT MODE(only on the remote control)
The loud parts of the sound are lowered and the soft passages
are raised. You can enjoy surround sound without disturbing
sleeping children or neighbors. Night mode only works with
Dolby Digital, and only if supported by the source material.
