Setting Up Options
Limitation
r Changing the setting of the printer requires Full Control access permission.
Members of the Administrators, Server Operators, Print Operators, and Pow-
er Users groups have Full Control permission by default. When you set up
options, log on under Full Control permission.
Note
r When setting up options, you should access the Printer Properties from Win-
dows. You cannot set up options when accessing the Printer Properties from
3an application.
AClick [Star]t on the task bar, point to [Settings], and then click [Printer]s.
The [Printers] window appears.
BClick the icon of the printer you want to use. On the [File] menu, click
[Properties].
CClick the [Device Settings] tab.
DUse the [Installable Options] group to specify the options.
EClick [OK] to close the Printer Properties.

AClose all the applications that are currently running.
BInsert the CD-ROM in the CD-ROM drive.
CFrom the [Program Manager], click [Run] from the [File] menu.
DIn the [Run] window, click [Browse].
ESelect the CD-ROM drive in the [Drives:] list.
FOpen [PS].
GOpen [WIN31].
HOpen the folder of the language you use.
IOpen [DISK1].
JDouble-click ?SETUP.EXE?.
