Keep raising the level slowly

until all Fixed Filters and one
dynamic filter is set. Turbo Setup
Mode goes OFF automatically
when the first Dynamic filter is
CHANNEL
initialized. Any un-initialized dy-INPUT
LEVEL
namic filters will be set later if
feedback occurs during the pro-
gram.
Now lower the channel level
fader slightly so that the system
is not on the verge of another
feedback point. This is the maxi-
mum volume level that the FBX-
SOLO will be able to provide.CHANNEL
INPUT
Higher levels will cause uncon-LEVEL
trollable feedback.
Finally, during sound check, ad-

just the Clip Level Adjust so that
the red Clip LED blinks intermit-
tently, as you would adjust the
recording level of a tape re-
corder. The unit will clip and
distort the program if the Clip
Level Adjust is set too high. If it
is set too low, the signal-to-noise
ratio will degrade and the sys-
tem may hiss.
IMPORTANT: Make sure Turbo mode
is OFF ? Clip LED NOT flashing!
