This manual is for both the EU and Australian version of the CCD-TR55(E) Camcorder, as stated it includes both the users manual and the service manual. The quality of the manual is very good but it is only black and white (not full colour) and ultimately it is just a scan, so 4/5 from me.

Contains mechanism diagrams, parts lists and schematics for all worldwide versions of DC-X88Z. Also includes remote schematic etc. A few non-essential pages are missing such as specifications. Includes the mechanical and electronic calibration instructions for the tape decks.

To select the fan speed (in Cool or Power Saver

To raise the temperature: Power SaverLow
Press the up arrow button. Each time you press or hold the up
arrow button, the temperature will increase 1o until it reaches
86Â°F (30oC).
Temp / Time
TimerTo lower the temperature:
Press the down arrow button. Each time you press or hold the
down arrow button, the temperature will decrease 1o until it
reaches 64Â°F(18oC).
NOTE: Two AA batteries (not included) power the remote control.
Replace batteries after 6 months of use, or when the remote
control starts to lose power.
To set the Timer for a 1- to 24-hour delay until the air
To turn the air conditioner on or off:

Press POWER ON/OFF.
1. Press TIMER. Indicator light on air conditioner will flash.

Auto Cool1. Turn off air conditioner.

4. Press TIMER again or wait 10 seconds. Indicator light on air
conditioner will remain on.
Fan Only
To set Timer to turn on air conditioner, changing the
previous settings:
Power Saver1. Turn on air conditioner.
2. Adjust MODE to Auto, Cool, Fan Only, or Power Saver.
3. Adjust FAN SPEED to Turbo, High or Low.
4. Adjust temperature between 64Â°F (18oC) and 86Â°F (30oC).
5. Wait 3 seconds before turning off air conditioner.
6. Press TIMER. Indicator light on air conditioner will flash.
7. Press the up arrow or down arrow button to change delay
time (1 to 24 hours).
8. Press TIMER again or wait 10 seconds. Indicator light on air
conditioner will remain on.
