SPECIFIC SERVICE INSTRUCTIONS
DISASSEMBLY PROCEDURE

" Removing the rear cover.
REMOVING THE REAR COVER" Removing the MAIN PWB
1. Unplug the power cord.1. Remove the 1 screws marked E .
2. Remove the 5 screws marked A as shown in the Fig. 1.
2. Remove the HP JACK PWB
3. Withdraw the rear cover toward you.
REMOVING THE MAIN PWBCHECKING THE PW BOARD
To check the back side of the PW Board.
" Removing the rear cover.1) Pull out the PW Board. (Refer to REMOVING THE MAIN
1. Slightly raise the both sides of the chassis by hand and withdrawPWB).

(If necessary, take off the wire clamp, connectors etc.)2) Erect the PW Board vertically so that you can easily check
the back side of the PW Board.

" Removing the MAIN PWB
1. Remove the 4 claws marked C from bottom side attaching the
CHASSIS BRACKET as shown in the Fig. 1.WIRE CLAMPING AND CABLE TYING
2. Remove the CHASSIS BRACKET up ward.1. Be sure to clamp the wire.
2. Never remove the cable tie used for tying the wires together.
3. Pull out the FRONT CONTROL PWB.Should it be inadvertently removed, be sure to tie the wires with
a new cable tie.

" Removing the rear cover.
" Removing the rear MAIN PWB.
" Removing the FRONT CONTROL PWB
1. Remove the 2 screws marked D.
2. Remove the FRONT AV JACK PWB.
