If it is, replace it. Assemble the phone, start it and set the correct time. Wait a few
minutes for the backup capacitor to charge. Remove the battery and reinsert it after
a minute. Check if the error is Ţxed (the backup capacitor needs a few hours of
charging to reach full capacity). Compare to the correct time. If the clock is speed-
ing or is halted, proceed to section 1.3.
