1.Remove the DIP switch cover (1 screw).
2.Turn off the main switch and turn on DIP switch 1-8.
3.Place a sheet of A3 (LDG) paper on the exposure glass and align it to the
left scale.
4.Enter ?50? using the numeral keys, then press the Enter key.
NOTE: The copier then performs one free run to detect the paper length,
which is then displayed on the magnification indicator.
5. If the detected length is not 420 (432/LDG), subtract the number dis-
played on the indicator from 420 (432/LDG).
6. Correct the adjusted length in data in the SP Mode #46. The procedure
for doing so is as follows:
(1) Enter ?46? using the numeral keys, then press the Enter key.
(2) Check the copy counter, where a number from O to 15 will be dis-
played. (SP Mode #46 enables 16 correction steps, 1 mm per step).
If, for example, the detected length is 418 and ?8? is displayed on the
copy counter, enter ?1 O? (The difference between 8 and 10 is 2, as is
the difference between 418 and 420) using the numeral keys and
press the Enter key. Then repeat steps 1-4 to verify that the correct
length is detected.
7. Confirm that the length has been corrected by repeating steps 1 to 4.
8. Turn off the main switch and DIP switch 1-8, and then reassemble the
cover.
