Use only the BJI-201 ink tanks with this printer.
To ensure excellent print quality and to avoid spilling ink, always follow these
guidelines:
zBe sure to install all four ink tanks. Attempting to print without one or more
of the ink tanks in place causes the ERROR and INK lights to come on and
the printer does not operate.
zAlways install the ink tanks in the correct slots. If you install an ink tank in
the wrong slot, the color inks may mix with each other in the printer and the
new ink tank may be spoiled.
zDo not remove an ink tank until it is empty or six months after opening it,
whichever comes first.
zDo not attempt to move the mechanism that houses the print head unit and
ink tanks.
zEach ink tank has a sponge portion, and the top of the sponge is always
white. This is normal and does not indicate a partially full tank.
zThe ink inside the tanks appears much darker than the color that prints on a
sheet of paper.
The contents of an ink tank may leak. Spilled ink may permanently stain any surface
or object. Open ink tank packages carefully; follow all instructions on package and
use all necessary precautions.
