5. Install the air freshening filter back into position.
6. Insert the upper portion of air filter back into the unit taking care that the left and right edges
line up correctly and place filter into position.
MAINTENANCE
Periodically check the air inlet and outlet on both the indoor and outdoor unit for blockages.
If they are blocked, clear them.
If you plan to idle the unit for a long time.
1. Operate the fan for about half a day to dry the inside of the unit.
2. Stop the air conditioner and disconnect the power source. Remove the batteries from
the remote controller.
3. The outdoor unit requires periodic maintenance and cleaning. Do not attempt to do this
yourself. Please contact your dealer or servicer.
AFTER SALES SERVICE
Should you need servicing on your air conditioner, please shut the unit off and contact your
dealer or servicer.
INSTALLATION
NOTICE
Be sure your power supply meets the specifications on the nameplate.
An earth leakage circuit breaker or air-breaker should be installed in the power wiring system.
The capacity of the breaker should be 1.5 times of the maximum ampere rating of the unit.
To avoid electric shock, please ground the unit.
The air conditioner MUST be used on dedicated circuit.
If need be, use the power fuse or the circuit breaker specified in INSTALLATION MANUAL.
Never pull on any of the wiring . To change the wiring ,please call a professional electrician or
servicer.
If the supply cord is damaged, please call a professional electrician or servicer for repairs.

Caution
Please mount the unit in a stable location to avoid the noise or vibration.
Find a location for the outdoor unit where noise and hot air emitted by the unit will be of the
least inconvenience to your neighbours.
If the air conditioner sounds abnormal during operation, contact the dealer where you
purchased the air conditioner.
If you move out or if it is desired to relocate the air conditioner, consult your dealer.
